SPECIAL FEATURE: POND’S Flawless Radiance BB Cream

Ordinarily we would not post about make-up beauty products because as I’m sure you figured out our blog’s focus is on manicures and pedicures but, when a product like the POND’S Flawless Radiance BB Cream arrives on our manicure table we couldn’t resist. Both my sister and I are not huge fans of make-up (I know…don’t judge)we basically do enough to get by, when we do decide to wear make-up we generally resonate towards a more natural look, a product that can give us a light coverage to hide those unwanted blemishes and give us a flawless even tone.

Generally we both find make-up somewhat challenging maybe because of our lack of experience in finding the perfect colour for our skin tone. So when we received the POND’s Flawless Radiance BB Cream we were both a bit apprehensive about trying it. Our curiosity got the better of us and boy, oh boy were we happy about that. After trying the new POND’S Radiance BB Cream we both fell head over heels in love! Not only was the coverage perfection for a BB Cream, we got a perfectly even skin tone with no assistance from a concealer, furthermore, the POND’S Flawless Radiance BB Cream has an SPF PA++!

I’m sure most of you are aware of what an SPF (Sun Protection Factor) is but we had never actually heard of PA++ so with some help from our dear Uncle Google this is what we found:

SPF tells us the level of UVB rays while PA tells us the level of protection from UVA rays. PA means Protection Grade of UVA rays. The Protection Grade of UVA (PA) system is used to measure the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of a sunscreen. They are often levelled as PA+, PA++, PA+++ the more plus signs the more protection from UVA rays. I hope that helps to clear any questions that you may have had about the PA++.

For those of you who are anything like us and battle with finding the perfect BB Cream we would most definitely recommend it my sister and I are slightly different shades yet the POND’S Flawless Radiance BB Cream matched both of us like a second skin.
